As the latest addition to our growing design team, Max brings with him extensive experience in the residential, multi-residential, and urban design spaces.
Drawing from his professional work in Germany, Canada, and Australia, Max has developed a deep understanding and love for complex public buildings. His approach to design is orientated by the existing context surrounding any given project — the landscaped, built surroundings, local building traditions, and history.
At the centre of his work, he places the people who will experience it — the owners, visitors, even passers-by. This approach, he explains, helps him create designs that can challenge a person’s preconceived notions of a space and widen their perspective.
Outside of the office, Max is a keen hiker, camper, and (constantly improving) surfer. This combination has already led him to explore some of the most remote beaches in South Australia.

Max has a Bachelor of arts in architecture at Munich University of Applied Sciences and a Master of Science ETH in Architecture (MSc ETH Arch) at ETH Zurich.
