We welcome Ebony Hurd to our growing interior design team!

Originally from Tasmania, Ebony joins our Hobart studio after completing a Diploma of Interior Design and Decoration at RMIT University and working at a high-end residential studio in Melbourne for six years.

With a passion for minimalist and sustainable design, Ebony often draws inspiration from the natural environment to create calm and inviting spaces. She balances her design approach with a considered use of textures, light, and materials to create memorable spaces for the people experiencing them. Highly collaborative in her practice, Ebony often incorporates a series of old and new influences into many of her designs.

She pairs her varied experience collaborating with clients, joiners and builders with a focus on balancing materials and products, calm aesthetics, and refined designs to create memorable spaces.

Ebony’s recent work for our studio has centred on residential, hospitality, and commercial spaces in Hobart.
