We’re happy to introduce the newest member of our design team Adil. Having worked as a registered architect in India over the past four years, Adil brings another valuable perspective to our growing studio.

With work spanning the educational, residential, social housing, and cultural tourism sectors, Adil draws on inspiration from both a project’s context and local communities — their history, culture, stories, and even the use of traditional materials — allowing him to create sympathetic designs that stimulate conversations between spaces, people, and their environments.

Having recently worked as a project lead in Studio Lotus in New Delhi, Adil led the design for the new Mehrangarh Visitors Centre within the Mehrangarh Fort, a historic 1400s complex located in India’s north western state of Rajasthan, as well as concept designs tackling affordable housing issues for migrants in Mumbai.

He completed his Bachelor of Architecture at New Delhi’s Jamia Millia Islamia University and is currently undertaking his Master of Architecture at the University of Sydney.

Welcome to the team Adil!
