CAMILLA
TIERNEY

Creative Operations Manager

M.Arch (Hons), B.BltEnv (Arch St)
Registered Architect VIC
Melbourne Studio

Camilla is a registered architect and Cumulus’ Creative Operations Manager, overseeing projects, resourcing, and mentoring across our practice.

Over the last 17 years Camilla has worked on an array of small and large-scale projects in the residential, commercial, and public sectors. Notable projects include the new Asylum Seeker Resource Centre in Dandenong, Victoria, the multi-residential Collins House building in the heart of Melbourne, and the AMEB Music Examination Rooms in Sydney.

Her design approach is centred around creating functional, sustainable, and engaging spaces, ones that naturally fulfill their intended use without having to be ostentatious, overly complicated, or larger than absolutely required.

In 2020, Camilla was shortlisted for the Australian Institute of Architects’ Dulux Study Tour alongside 29 other emerging young architects in the country. Outside of Cumulus, she is a tutor of Architectural Practice at the University of Melbourne’s School of Design.
