Based in Fremantle, Western Australia, Camilo is Cumulus’ resident copywriter. He has a bachelor’s degree in international relations as well as postgraduate diplomas in creative writing and journalism.

As a former journalist in Australia, Indonesia, and Colombia, Camilo covered everything from politics to culture and sport for publications such as the BBC, VICE, and World Politics Review.

Drawing on his experience in the media, communications, and marketing industries, Camilo approaches every project and task through complete immersion and in-depth research, helping him convey complex ideas (and designs) through simple and engaging narratives.

Since joining our studio in 2021, Camilo has focussed on creating content for Cumulus’ website, projects, and awards, as well as writing press releases and external articles.
