Kirsten Fox

Experienced Architect

B. Env Design, M. Arch
Registered Architect
Hobart Studio

Growing up on Tasmania’s east coast, Kirsten recognised from an early age the potential of design to enhance people’s lives and wellbeing. During her studies at the University of Tasmania, she undertook an exchange program in Krakow, Poland, which - along with regular international travel and residencies - further widened her perspective on architecture and its relationship to culture and climate.

Kirsten’s career experience has provided exposure to various building typologies, ranging from hospitality and education design, to residential and multi-residential, sports facilities and modular design. With a focus on people, her professional background has also seen her lead projects and manage teams, and has embedded her motivation to impact communities and minority groups through the built environment.

While Kirsten does not conform to one particular design style, she is always led by the unique qualities of the project brief, place and people, and seeks to create environmentally and socially healthy spaces that connect people to place and to each other.
