OLIVIA
POTTER

Designer

B.Envs (Arch), M.Arch
Hobart Studio

Olivia joined our studio in 2022 bringing with her design experience in the residential, commercial, transport, health, and sport sectors. She holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Melbourne.

Her work on notable designs in Victoria ranges from the Ian Potter Southbank Centre project for the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, which she worked on during her studies, to the $1.5 billion Footscray Hospital in Melbourne’s western suburbs.

Now based in our Hobart office, Olivia’s interest in the intersection between sustainability, people's wellbeing, and architecture allows her to place both the human experience and the environment at the centre of her designs. Her holistic approach results in considered, ecologically-focussed designs aimed at creating stronger relationships between people, built spaces, and the natural environment.

As part of her approach, Olivia is keenly interested in learning more about First Nations People’s relationship to country and how these perspectives can influence design.

Outside of Cumulus, Olivia is a curator at Process Independent Talks in Melbourne, a monthly speaker series focusing on architecture and the built environment.
