We are helping Macquarie Point Development Corporation with the urban design of the public space at Macquarie Point which adjoins the Hobart waterfront and sits adjacent to the Regatta Grounds, the Cenotaph and the Queens Domain. We are delighted to be involved in this project along side Playstreet and ERA Planning.

As a part of the redevelopment of the site the Macquarie Point Development Corporation are seeking input from the community on the look, feel and use of the open space at the site. By taking part in the survey you will have a voice in developing the concept for the truth and reconciliation park.

The aim for this project is to create an innovative and dynamic area, establishing an arts, culture, tourism and science precinct located in a critical location on the Hobart waterfront. Within the precinct is a 1.3ha area set aside for public open space. This space has the working title truth and reconciliation art park (The Park).

Activities proposed for The Park include, but are not limited to, use for large scale events and festivals as well as providing a meaningful and culturally respectful space to encourage a sense of connectedness within the community.
